Holger Drachmanns grave north of Skagen

Description: Holger Henrik Herholdt Drachmann (October 9, 1846 – January 14, 1908), was a Danish poet, painter and dramatist. He was born and died in Copenhagen but he got a final resting place in a tomb in the dunes north of Skagen because he lived most of his life in Skagen.

He became most famous as dramatist with his most famous play "Der var engang" (Once upon a time) from 1885. It was a song play with the song "Midsommervisen" (Midsummer Song) . In Denmark it's sung on June 23rd. when the bonfire with the witch is lit.
