Description: Jyndovnen is a pretty long barrow from the Neolithic period in Godthaab, just north of Ginnerup. The cairn lies today in a cultivated landscape, but when it was completed more than 5,000 years ago, it lay only a few hundred meters north of a very narrow fjord, which cut about a mile into the hills from the north side of Kolindsund at Ginnerup. .

The name Jyndovn is an old common name of Jutland Peasants Stone Age large stone tombs, and found several places on old maps. The distinctive name is composed of Jynd as the Jutland dialect means giant or giant, and oven which actually meant a furnace.
