Description: In 1916 the Kilian Tunnel was dug by German forces near the French city Carspach. 1918 it was hit by an Allied shell killind 21 German soldiers of the 6th Company, 94th Reserve Infantry Regiment. Near the city of Carspach a memorial stands, but now the newly found remains of the German soldiers can have their final restingplace in one of the German cemeteries of WW1.
Late 2011 during the construction of a new highway the workers found it and it was excavated over the next months.
