Description: The bombs dropped on February 21st 1945 missed its target, the Suedbahnhof (Southern Central Station). The quay near Ausstellungsstrasse were hit.
The bombers overrun the initialpoint Michelbach and raninto the flak at Moosbierbaum. The second part of the formation didn't trust the curse correction of the leading first formation and left formation. The first section had the correct angle to the target but wrong speed.
Seven bombers of section one were hit by flak, three broke away to the east and tried to reach the Russian front.
The second section corrected too much and bombed the engine factory in Neudorf. |
