Description: The old town in this beautiful city has been around for a long time and is home to one of the few matriarchal societies on this planet. The native music with a large music hall is outstanding and is known throughout China. Hotels are $5.00 a night and food is excellent and inexpensive. The natives are very very happy and friendly. Arrive by bus from Dali or by air via their new airport.
