Description: The Center sits on roughly 60 acres of land that is bounded by South Shore Drive on the west, 71st Street on the south, and Lake Michigan on the north and east. There is a nine-hole course, run by Kemper Golf that offers a 1st Tee Program for youth; a beach with open space for picnics; picnic areas; gardens; a Nature center and Bird Sanctuary; and a horse stable currently used by the Chicago Police Department.
