Description: From this point going west, you find the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the sidewalk along Hollywood Boulevard. Embedded with more than 2,000 celebrity-names as a tribute to performers and others within show business. Created in 1958 to give Hollywood a face-lift. In 1978, the City of Los Angeles designated the Walk of Fame as a Cultural/Historic Landmark.
