Description: VW Autoeuropa is located nearby Palmela, Portugal, opened its gates in April 26th, 1995 and then was a joint venture of Volkswagen and Ford. Car models produced were Ford Galaxy, Seat Alhambra and VW Sharan. Has considerably contributed to the Portuguese economy, holding directly 3100 jobs and ~10% of the portuguese exports.
