Description: Wonderful Moonscape with hundreds of mountains and rock formations popping out of a sea of sand. Of Lawrence of Arabia fame. T.E. Lawrence used the area as a retreat from his guerrilla campaigns against the Ottoman turks. David Lean filmed part of his movie there.

Editors note - I have been here, toured by day and ate dinner at night in a Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum. Good food, great dancing, and a wonderful time.
