Description: This prototype solar concentrator is situated at the ANU. It is a design for generating power from solar energy, not by conventional means but by using the concentrated solar energy to boil water and use the resulting steam to drive turbines. It has a surface area of 400 square meters and a thermal efficiency of 80-90%. Website here: http://www.wizardpower.com.au/solar_technology.html
There's also a funny reflection of the sun off the dish, which is why I've put this in the strange map quirks category.
