Description: The Calgary Springbank Airport is a small regional airport dedicated to recreational/very light transit traffic. It is owned by the Calgary Airport Authority, which also controls the International Airport nearby. It has no landing fees, as opposed to the 8$ landing fee (And the inconvinience to bigger airplanes) of the International Airport, and is therefore a better choice for small aircraft landing, even the CAA encourages people to land here. You can also see the VERY old runway from way-back-when in the middle of the facility.
