Description: Schloss Burg an der Wupper was built by Graf Adolf II von Berg in 12nd century. It was the home of the Counts of Berg, who used the site as a fortress. Damaged in the 30-years war, it was rebuilt from the 1890s onwards. Today it is a museum as well as one of the largest rebuilt castles of Western Germany.
