Description: 3,415 m. (11,204 ft).
Emi Koussi is a huge extinct volcano in the middle of the Sahara Desert. It is the highest of the Tibesti Mountains, located in extreme north Chad. Its crater is 12 miles wide and 4,000 feet deep.
