Description: This palace is one of the numerous royal palaces of the Royal Family of Spain, although the actual King Don Juan Carlos I doesn´t usually use it. It is located within an area of huge ecological interest: the Mount of El Pardo. Its foundation was in 1405, and it has been reformed by Enrique IV, Felipe III, Carlos III and Fernando VI. It was the official residence of General Franco during his dictatorship. It has a beatiful chapel and valuable art works. |
