Built in the the 13th century by the Escoussans, the Langoiran Castle hold an important strategic position during the Hundred Years War.
It was successively the home of the Albret and the Montferrand families until the 16th century. Residing place of Tuillaume d'Affis, President of the Parlement of Bordeaux at the beginning of the 17th century, it was dismantled during the Fronde. Classified as a historical monument |
