| The MIchigan Theatre, in Detroit, is one of the amazing old structures built during the golden ages of the motor city, and then sort of abandoned. It's interior seems like a baroque french Theatre, but it was closed in the late 80's and then reopened as... parking, but a main part of the old structure still remains, so that you can see cars parked under the stage and all its paintings. As another interest point, the theatre was built in the same lot where Henry Ford made is first car, and this garage was taken, brick to brick, to the Ford Museum. |
