|Krudttårnet built 1686-1690, is a three-storey Martello tower. On the top floor (canon deck) you can see a range of artillery. The lower floors contain exhibitions on the history of Fladstrand and the harbour. The tower was used as a base by the naval hero, Tordenskiold, during the Northern War.|
1974 it was decided to move the tower from the original place because of the expansion of the harbour area, so it was moved 270 meters (890 feet) to where it stands now. It took 13 month and was moved in one piece.
It was reopened on august 5th. 1976.
