The Kjosfossen is a legendary waterfall in Norway. It belongs to the municipality of Aurland in Sogn og Fjordane province and is located directly on the Flåmsbanen (railway between Myrdal and Flåm. 1951, near the waterfall, a stopping place for trains was built for the train passengers leave the train in order to visit the waterfall. It's an impressing sight and the sound from the water is like thunder, and don't forget rainwar when you are there. The stopping place is located about four kilometers from the railway station Myrdal away at an altitude of 670 meters above sea level.

During the peak summer travel time appear at the entrance of the train Fairie (Norwegian Huldrene) which is a dance perform at the waterfall. The performers are students of the Norwegian Ballet School.
