After Mussolinis execution by italian partisans and the public show up in Milano he was burried in Cimitero del Musocco in an anonymous gravesite.
But a few days later his body was exhumed by fascists and taken to the monastery Certosa di Pavia. 3½ month later the body was taken to the Cappucine Monastery in Cerro Maggiore where it remkained until 1957 when it was moved to his final resting place in a tomb in the cemetery of Predappio, the village he was born. |
