This is the famous beach from the motion picture THE BEACH starring Leonardo DiCaprio. But the Beach named MAYA BAY located on the Island Koh Pee Pee Lae in Thailand, isn't completly surrounded by rocks like in the movie. The illusion was created by adding on giant rock with CGI. But: The Beach is really amazing!

This is Kionia Beach (also Tinos Beach) in Tinos island, Greece. There is a large Hotel near it, called Tinos beach, whith a tennis court available for play.

Omaha Beach was the Allied codename for one of the principal landing points during the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944. The beach is about 3.5 miles long, from Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes to Vierville-sur-Mer.
This is the a beach the local's use. There are no hotels here just two enormous beaches with lovely white sand. You have to pay to park (about 4 Euro) then walk a bit but worth it. Beach bars , beds etc available.
