Kelsborrow Castle hill fort

Kelsborrow Castle is an Iron Age hill fort. Hill forts were fortified hill-top settlements constructed across Britain during the Iron Age. It is one of only seven hill forts in the county of Cheshire in northern England and was probably in use for only a short time. In the 19th century, a bronze palstave was recovered from the site. It is protected as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Arp Museum Rolandseck

A museum for Hans Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arp on the way between Bonn and Remagen (Hans Arp was a founding member of the "Dada"-Movement around 1916). Today you find the museum in the old train station. From spring 2007 there is a new museum complex on the hill behind the station, designed by the famous architect Richard Meier. This is the Alameda Naval Weapons Station. This facility is very big. Check it out, its really cool. The bunker looking things on the ground are bomb holders. That way if one blows up they all don't blow up. Same with the train bunkers in the hill just west of the bomb holders.
