It is now the only airworthy Cargomaster in the world. It made several flights in the summer of 2004 to carry large loads to remote locations in Alaska. However, due to strict FAA restrictions it is only allowed to do work for the Alaska State government.
|Fort Richardson is located to the northeast of Anchorage, AK and to the east of Elmendorf Air Force Base. The Fort has a Vet Clinic and is also used a great deal by the Alaska National Guard.|
