The Kamzík TV Tower is a 200 metre high TV Tower overlooking the City of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. It sits on Kamzík hill, part of the Little Carpathians. The Kamzík TV Tower was built in 1975 and has an observation deck and restaurant open for visitors. Its design is somewhat unusual.
Slovakia is situated at the heart of Europe, and at the crossroads of west and east. St.John's Church in the village of Krahule, on the road to Kremnicke Bane, was declared to be the geographical centre of Europe. That tradition goes back to the late 18th century.
Stuttgart21 is a key infrastructure project on the Trans-European-Network axis 17, the high speed railroad link Paris (France) - Bratislava (Slovakia). The total budget for the project including the high speed link to the city of Ulm is about 4.8 billion Euros.
