A Ship on the Manchester Ship Canal heading out towards the sea. The ship canal runs around the River Mersey, which means that ship can come and go out sea any time, even when the tide is out, as you can see clealy on googles pictures.
This ship is being unloaded at the Port of Ayr. The white powder (possibly fertiliser or soda ash) is being loaded into trucks. They can be seen waiting beside the ship and to the south. It is a dry day and they are using water spray to keep the dust down.
Old Melbourne Jail, Victoria, Australia. Built in the mid 1800's, between 1842 and 1929 [when it closed] there were 135 hangings including the famous bushranger Ned Kelly. Thankfully capital punishment is no more a part of Australia.
