 | Along the coast of the North Sea, the Germans built several radar stations. On the island of Schiermonnikoog they built a radar installation of the Wassermann type. According to some sources, sabotage was the cause that an antenna was never installed, and therefore this Wasserman was never put into use. | | 09/27/2006 | 556 |

 | The various military and space agencies have some massive buildings which house phased-array radar mechanisms more than 100 feet high. I've placed marked 3, plus an extra non-active US facility related to one such radar. The two US radar buildings are high resolution, although the UK one is low resolution for now. | | 10/24/2006 | 395 |

 | This is the Nike Missile radar base located in Livingston, NJ. The base sits high atop a hill and is now an art park.
The radar base was set here to control Nike missiles which would have been launched from the base in East Hanover, NJ, just a few miles away. (Have a look at the file I uploaded previously for the East Hanover Nike missile base.) | | 07/31/2005 | 398 |
