This file is a collection of air transportation in streetview, including helicopters (military and civilian), airplanes (military and civilian), and aerostats. Each find is coded by color and icon type.
Each find can be viewed directly within Google Earth (version 6+) or viewed in Google Maps with a direct link from within the placemark.
Having seen "Dual images" of flying aircraft, do you think this could be another satellite? Keep in mind that the imaging Satellites orbit several hundred miles/kilometers, higher than some Low Earth Orbit Satellites... Also if you follow the line South East, you will notice it is Not a physical structure. Your thoughts?

The deepest points on Earth (Google Earth atleast), located at -35,717 feet (at the head of the pin). That's a little over 6.75 miles down!

Its a network link for Google Earth which will use Google Maps to give you a transparent map overlay for the area you are viewing in Google Earth. In other words...go over a certain region, activate the network link, and it will show you what that area would look like in Google Maps.
You can set the depth to what you want to flood your google earth, then refresh the network link and wait till it loads and you'll see which areas would be underwater and which wouldn't.
