The Ann Arbor Airport operates 24 hours a day, handling business, corporate and public and private flights, air ambulance service, flight instruction and charter services. The City owns and leases 148 T-hangars, and some tie-down spaces. During University of Michigan home football games, many people enjoy watching the planes pick-up and drop off the banners that fly over the stadium.
These two cars to and from the island of Mando is only possible between around 12PM and 9PM, and a from around midnight and 9AM but it's only safe in daytime because you can easily drive wrong and end into the nearby North Sea.

At low tide you can walk right round the wreck - according to a poem in a picture frame in the Colintraive Hotel, this was a fishing boats whose crew was less than alert (and there is a hint that alcohol may have had a part to play) so they mistook the low lying ground behind Ettrick Bay for the channel to the north of the island.
