A perfect example of the French classical style of architecture with characteristic decor and main staircase, it comprises the King's apartments, the 17th century mirroded room, the Comte d'Artois' dining room designed by Bélanger, and the bed chambers of Marechal Lannes and Jacques Laffitte.

 | Haut-Barr (German:Hohbarr) Castle is a medieval castle, first built in 1100, above the city of Saverne in the French département of Bas-Rhin. It was built on sandstone rock 460m above the valley of Zorn and the plain of Alsace. Because of this, it has been called the eye of Alsace.

 | The Castle Ehreshoven is a moated castle in Engelskirchen, Oberbergischer Kreis, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The castle was first mentioned in 1355. Prior to becoming a Damenstift (a kind of monastery without a vow for noble ladies), it belonged to the counts of Nesselrode for 500 years. A moat exists around the castle, a French garden and a teahouse (16th century).
