 | very few years ago, Chinese authorities ordered to build a "crazy" highway from south to north in the Takamaklan desert(north-west part of the country).
Very few part of it is visible on high definition, but here is a good satellite view. We clearly can see its left and right side protected by planted trees against the sand destruction.
