Loon Mountain Ski Resort, New Hampshire

Loon Mountain Ski Resort, New Hampshire

One of my favorite ski resorts that's somewhere close to where I live:
Loon Mountain is a mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire, in Grafton County. It is in the White Mountain National Forest.

The 3,065-foot mountain may be best known for Loon Mountain ski resort, which, like most New England mountain resorts, has attempted to expand into an all-season recreation area. It hos...

The hill-top fort, connected to a sea-level water battery, overlooks Pensacola Bay, from what is now Naval Air Station Pensacola. Because the hill-top fort was rebuilt of brick, becoming Fort Barrancas, the older, w...

Censored Shipyard

Censored Shipyard

While looking for naval boats in Netherlands, I came across this shipyard. Sadly, it's censored.

It's kinda cool though if you look at the contrast of censoring of that boat just entering the harbour and the surrounding water.

More Than 3000 Feet Censored

More than 3000 feet censored here. That's the largest censoring (in terms of blurring buildings) I've seen so far. They even blurred the road.

Missile Warning Radomes

Buckley AFB is home to the 2nd Space Warning Sqn which provides ballistic missile warning to Cheyenne Mountain Air Station and the 21st Space Wing at Peterson AFB.
The airfield itself is an ideal refuelling stop. It services up to 6000 military aircraft each year. An ANG F16 can be seen touching town on the E-W runway.
