This is the space shuttle assembly building. The Shuttle and and its Fuel Tanks are prepared vertically within this huge building. To the north you can see one of the crawlers used to transport the shuttle to the launch pad. If you follow the tracks round you will come to the two launch sites over 4 miles away.
