M.K.B. Wijk was one of the coastal batteries of Festung Ijmuiden. There are still a M 473a (Firecontrolpost for 17cm battery) and four 671 (Artillery casemate). Unfortunately they are not accessible.

Naval Coast Battery M.K.B. Vineta, Hoek van Holland

South of the headquarters of M.A.A. 205 you' ll find M.K.B. Vineta. This battery is on the same place as a former Dutch coastal battery. Initially the guns were on open platforms, but with the Schartenbauprogramm of 1943, four 671SK were built. For the secondary fieldguns a 612 was used. The fire control-post of the former Dutch battery was kept into use for its original purpose.

Germany Battery - Goeben

A German coast battery stands on the island of Wolin and defended the bay of Pomerania against assaults from sea.
Battery "Goeben" is constructed between 1938 and 1939 and consisted of a fire-control tower (see picture) and three 283 mm canons.
In 1940, these canons were dismantled and brought to Norway.

The coast battery "Henningsen" (established in Fortress "Zachodni") was in service between 1940 and 1945 and consisted of four 150mm canons.
In 1941, a concrete fire-control tower was constructed on the west wing of the fortress.
