Brandenburg-Neuendorf Airfield, 6 August 1944

Portion of a Luftwaffe airfield in a photo taken on August 6, 1944 from a Spitfire MK XI of the 7th PRG.

There are some Heinkel He 177 in the splitter boxes at teh middle left side. Also four Fighter (Bf 109?) in the upper right sector, maybe it's the airfield security swarm.

Battle of Britain airfields

Battle of Britain airfields

This is a collection of most of the airfields used by the Royal Airforce defending Great Britain in the Battle of Britain in WWII.
Some airfields may torn down, I wasn't able to find all of them. Some positions of airfields are uncertain as there is no longer an airfield but due to size and shape it might be a former airfield.
Corrections, suggestions and comments are welcome.

The H.E. and V1 damage to Heronry Pond can be seen, plus V1 damage in Tennyson Avenue and in Wanstead Park Avenue (just in East Ham but dealt with by Wanstead CD). What appears to be a heavy anti-aircraft battery can also be seen on Wanstead Flats.
