|City Island is a small island and is located in the borough of The Bronx in NYC. It is about 1.5 miles long and about 5 or 6 blocks wide, depending on where on the island you are. It has the charm of an old New England fishing town and hardly any crime to boot.|

|This is an old Nike missile site on an island in the Long Island Sound near New York City. The base is actually on what was once a potter's field, the largest in the NYC area. Dodge City AAF was located 6 miles northwest of the town of Dodge City. The Army Airfield was built in 1942 for the 70,000 Pilot Training Program, to train pilots & crews of medium bombers, primarily B-25s.
Dodge City was also used during WW2 to train French aircrews.
