The Bewcastle Cross is an Anglo-Saxon high cross located in Cumbria, England. The cross dates from the late 7th or early 8th century and features inscriptions in the runic alphabet. The head of the cross is missing but the remains are 14.5 feet (4.4 meters) high.

The Papal Cross is a large white cross situated in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, Ireland. The Cross was erected for the visit of Pope John Paul II in September 1979. At the Cross, the Pope held Mass for over a million people. Following his death on April 2, 2005, people gathered in tribute to Pope John Paul at the Cross, leaving flowers and tokens of remembrance for him.

The National Museum of China flanks the eastern side of Tiananmen Square in Beijing, China. The mission of the museum is to educate about the arts and history of China. It is directed by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China.
