|This is where the ships enter the Manchester Ship Canal. The tide is out at the moment, but as soon as the tide comes in the ships can enter or exit the canal. Once in the canal they can safly move up and down the canal without worring about the level of the tide.||01/14/2007||477|

|Here's a look at the strangest airport I've ever seen. The airport is built on a small peninsula going perpendicular so it is built out over the water. In order to get past the airport, cars have to drive over the main strip of the runway. There looks to be railroad crossing style drop-down gates at each end of the crossing road.|

|This is the lighthouse located in Crescent City, California, as featured in the "California's Gold" episode "Northwest Corner". An interesting point is made during the episode in that during high tide, the lighthouse is separated from the mainland by water, but during low tide, one can walk from the mainland to the lighthouse completely over dry land.
