This fort south of Aars was build during Bronze-age around 1700 BC and was in use until 125 BC at the older iron age, the so called preroman ironage.
During the iron age it was a regular settlement.

To his 200th birthday in 2005 the community of Odense made 4 replicas in the park at Odense Castle. They were made by narcisses and gravel. June 2006 they were removed.
