 | Nuuk golf course is a 9 hole golf course with a par of 66 (1 par 5, 4 par 4 and 4 par 3), belonging to Nuuk Golf Club. It's the most nothern gras golf course in the world and opened in the year 2000.
The intentions is to increase it to a 18 hole in the year 2014. It began 2008.

 | This center was opened 1997 used as cinema, Greenlands first one. It also contains restaurants, cafes and a theater/concert hall.
Before it was opened the people of Nuuk had to wait until a movie was on market as video but today the movies are shown on the same day as they are in Denmark.

 | To keep up all communication in Greenland a set of antennas and satellite dishes were set at each city and village of Greenland.
These ones in Nuuk are for TV from Denmark but also for phones and Internet. From here the signals go down to Tele Greenlands distribution center to the left and then sent throughout Greenland.

 | This prison in Nuuk is an open prison and called Anstalten for domfældte (Institution for convicted). Prisoners here can do their normal work so so go to their ordinary job as fisherman, carpenter or what ever they do. They are "released at morning and comes back in the afternoon or evening when the job is done.
