 | From here the AA batteries were controlled. A conspicuous bunker is the Fl 250 (Flakgruppenkommandostand). This type of bunker has a tower. In France there are Fl 250' s with towers of 20 meters. The tower of the FL 250 at Den Helder is a bit lower: 6 meters. In Denmark there are even Fl 250 with no tower at all. The height of the tower, if any, depended on the terrain.

 | At Fromelles Hitler was stationed in 1916 with the 16th. Infantery Regiment.
For a long time it was thaught he was staying in a bunker west of fromelles. Often referred to as Hitler's bunker but this is wrong ! Hitler didn't recognize this bunker during his visit.
A sign was placed here referring to Hitler's bunker but it is gone or removed by now.

 | This is the Alameda Naval Weapons Station. This facility is very big. Check it out, its really cool. The bunker looking things on the ground are bomb holders.
