The mission over Berlin lasted approximately 30 minutes which was a long time to spend over that fine city during that period. Half a dozen Messerschmitt Bf 109 can be seen on the left side.

Photo was taken by John S. Blyth flying a Sptifire MK XI. He was based at Mt Farm, UK with the 14th Squadron of the 7th PRG USAAF.

Luftwaffe airfield Halberstadt Germany. Lots of aircraft on the ground July 7, 1944 including a Heinkel 111Z or "Zwilling" glider tug. There were a total of 12 built.

The Hans Egede was a wooden, auxiliary 3-masted ship, built in 1922 by J. Th. Jorgensen at Thuro, Denmark. It was reported damaged by fire on 21 August 1955. and towed to Dover where the fire was extinguished. During the Battle of Hel in 1939, this battery took down 30 German fighterplanes.

WWII Heavy Anti Aircraft gun battery at Ballymenach near Campbeltown

This heavy anti-aircraft battery is situated in a field just above the beach, on the E side of the B842 public road, N of Campbeltown. Four brick and concrete gun-emplacements, a command position survive with one other building stepped up the bank towards the road.
