	Oil storage facilities near Ghent destroyed, 18-19 August 1944 The reemains of what was an oil store and depot on the banks of the Terneuzen Canal near Ghent after two raids by the Bomber Command. 108 Lancasters and 5 Mosquitos of Nos 1 and 8 Groups attacked and caused severe damage to the oil depot and storage tanks at Ertvelde Rieme to the north of Ghent. 	Donges Oil Refinery, 23-24 July 1944 119 aircraft - 100 Halifaxes, 14 Lancasters, 5 Mosquitos - of Nos 6 and 8 Groups attacked an oil refinery and storage depot at Donges, near the mouth of the River Loire.
