|Apataki Atoll, an atoll in the Tuamotu Islands in the south Pacific, is approximately 370 kilometers northeast of the island of Tahiti, near 15°27' South, 146°19' West. |Strange looking dots and some houses occupy this atoll in the Persian Gulf. Looks as though there is a dredged shipping lane to the atoll. I have found no information on the net relating to this or any of the islands in the archipelago, and it is only visible in Google Earth.||01/28/2009||625|
