The museum is a part of the danish National Museum.
Outside at the entrance you can see a home made armoured vehicle used by the danish resistance.
|Ryvangen located north of Copenhagen was the place the Nazis executed danish resistance members. 202 members were found burried here and 106 were reburried after identification. Also burried here are 31 danes who died in german KZ's. And 151 resistance members with unknown burial-place are remembered on a wall located at the pin.||03/23/2006||1,051|

|On January 18, 1943, the first instance of armed resistance occurred when the Germans started the final expulsion of the remaining Jews. The Jewish fighters had some success: the expulsion stopped after four days and the ŻOB and ŻZW resistance organizations took control of the Ghetto, building shelters and fighting posts and operating against Jewish collaborators.|
