Thomas "Stonewall" Jacksons left arm grave

Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson got his left arm amputated after he was shot by own soldiers on May 2nd. 1863 when they thaught he was a North State soldier. He died on the 10th. May.

Thomas "Stonewall" Jacksons Headquarters Museum

The Stonewall Jackson's Headquarters Museum was an antebellum home owned by Lieutenant Colonel Lewis Tilghman Moore, commander of the 31st Virginia Militia. Later, while commanding the 4th Virginia Infantry, Colonel Moore offered his home at 415 North Braddock Street, Winchester, Virginia, USA, to serve as the headquarters for Confederate Major General Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson.

In this office building Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson died of his wounds after on May 10th. 1863. He was shot on May 10th. by own troops who thaught he was a Yank (North) soldier even though they shouted who he was they didn't await reply. They thaught it was a trick.
