|Bergen-Belsen, (or Belsen) was a Nazi concentration camp in Lower Saxony, southwest of the town of Bergen near Celle. Between 1943 and 1945 an estimated 50,000 European civilians died there. A memorial and an exhibition centre exist on the site now.||05/13/2006||2,293|
