 | This is an odd formation on the Amazon river, it looks as though the river has started to form a lake in the jungle. The 'lake' is deceivingly big, being 60 x 11 miles approx. The pattern that the water forms in the trees is interesting, somewhat like veins. |  | 08/05/2005 | 307 |

 | The Wave Organ is an unusual device constructed in San Francisco Bay by the Exploratorium. Using a series of pipes, the wave organ takes the waves of the bay and conveys their sound to listeners at several different stations. The effects produced vary depending on the level of the tide but include rumbles, gurgles, and other more typical wave sounds.
