The Morning Glory Spillway is considered an uncontrolled spillway which is located about 200 feet behind the Monticello Dam in California. The outside diameter of the hole is 72 feet and tapers down to about 28 feet. It's size enables it to consume 48,400 cubic feet of water every second when needed.

The airfield was built to a specification known as a class "A" standard operational airfield, this involved 3 intersecting runways 60 degrees to each other all 150 feet wide, two of these being 4400 feet long and the main runway was 6400 feet long, the perimeter track was 50 feet wide and would circumscribe the entire flying area and was 3.25 miles in length.

In 1984 the plans to build the Clipper City were purchased from the Smithsonian Institution. A cross section of the original lumber-hauling schooner can be found in the Manitowak Maritime Museum on the shores of Lake Michigan in Wisconsin. The ship was built to entertain. The ship is owned by a brewing company by the same name.
