Collection of data related to Hurricane Katrina which struck the southeast US in August, 2005. Contains a high resolution SuperOverlay of aerial photographs that show the flooded areas of New Orleans shortly after the hurricane, as well as other data.
Recent satellite imagery of flooded areas in downtown New Orleans, post-Katrina. These area include the Superdome and Gormley Stadium.

Here is a satellite overlay of New Orleans that was taken on August 30, 2005. There are a number of clouds in the picture, but you can see the dark green flooded areas to get an idea of the damage.
This overlay shows the elevation levels of New Orleans, LA , along with Metairie, Kenner, Harahan, Arabi, Gretna, and Westwego, allowing easy determination of the flood zones.
