Today the Star of Africa diamond graces the Queen's apparel, but for millions (or thousands) of years, it lay buried here, at the Cullinan Mine near Pretoria, South Africa.
The Republic of Namibia is a country in southwestern Africa, on the Atlantic coast. It is bordered by Angola and Zambia to the north, Botswana to the east, and South Africa to the south. It gained independence from South Africa in 1990, and as such it is one of the youngest nations in the world. Its capital is Windhoek.

This is the second biggest opensky mine in the world, this mine have been used for two thousand years ago by Romans, and nowadays it's used by the NASA because the terrain is such as Mars, the dam you can see at the north of the mine are contamined waters.
