Kilmainham Gaol has played an important part in Irish history, as many leaders of Irish rebellions were imprisoned and some executed in the jail. The jail has also been used as a set for several films.

This is where he keeps inmates locked up in tents in 115 degree heat in the middle of the summer. He is also known to feed inmates green Bologna sandwitches and where pink underware.
|Bodmin Jail (alternatively Bodmin Gaol) is a tourist attraction and former prison situated in Bodmin, on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. Now partially in ruins, the building displays small exhibits of offenders imprisoned in Bodmin and offers a grim view into the criminal culture of Cornwall in days gone by.
